Booths 101



Important Tips

o We do NOT have to pay city/state/county taxes at the booth event. We charge the tax that's in that area, then when we reconcile, we put th tax zip code and address of the booth in; Usborne pays the taxes. All of the tax ID#s are in the Back Office. Many booth events will tell vendors that they owe taxes at the end, but that would have us paying double taxes. Instead, put the tax ID# on the vendor application.

o You MUST ask each event planner if they already have an Usborne consultant. If the answer is yes, then let them know that person will do a great job and to put you as a back-up. Be a company promoter!

o Be sure to read the Booths section in the Consultant Toolbox (purple file folder in top right corner of our Back Office) for UBAM booth policies.
